Overview

PPU Subsonic ammunition is manufactured in Serbia by Prvi Partizan, carrying on a tradition of quality dating back to 1928. Engineered for firearms designed to function with reduced cartridge velocity and pressure, this 9mm Luger load features a 158 grain full metal jacket (FMJ) bullet traveling at 950 fps. Subsonic ammunition is favored by military, law enforcement, and training programs due to its lower noise and reduced recoil benefits. This new-production ammunition is loaded into boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases with non-corrosive propellants. The non-expanding FMJ bullets are designed specifically for target shooting, indoor ranges, and competition use. Note that because this ammunition operates at reduced velocities and pressures, certain semi-automatic firearms requiring higher cartridge pressures to cycle may not function properly.
