Overview

The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Compact is a refined, lightweight bolt-action rifle designed for smaller-framed shooters, youths, and hunters seeking a nimble mountain platform. Built upon a forged steel short action receiver with an integral recoil lug, it features a 20-inch cold hammer-forged, free-floating barrel equipped with a recessed target crown to protect the rifling and enhance precision. At the core of its heritage design is a pre-’64 style controlled round feed system utilizing a massive claw extractor that fully controls the cartridge from the magazine to the chamber and through ejection. Operation is further enhanced by an adjustable M.O.A. Trigger System offering zero take-up, creep, or overtravel, alongside a convenient three-position safety and a blade-type ejector. The rifle is set in a classic satin-finish black walnut stock featuring traditional Featherweight cut checkering and a Schnabel fore-end, complemented by a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad for optimal protection against felt recoil. Additional features include polished metal surfaces and a rigid one-piece alloy bottom metal.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
