It is equipped with a 24-inch half-round, half-octagon button-rifled blued barrel that delivers exceptional accuracy and precision. Operation is smoothed by round locking bolt trunnions, a bolt relief cut to reduce hammer drag, and radiused lever edges for finger protection. It features a top-tang safety, a rebounding hammer for added safety, and a steel loading gate. The hammer is drilled and tapped for the included knurled hammer spur extension to assist in cocking and decocking when optics are mounted. Sighting is handled by a Marble Arms front brass bead and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. An articulated cartridge stop improves feeding reliability without damaging cartridges.
