Overview

The Winchester SX4 Universal Hunter is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered for 12-gauge shells with a 3.5-inch chamber and a 4+1 capacity. Built on a lightweight aluminum alloy receiver, it features a 26-inch vent rib steel barrel equipped with a TruGlo long bead fiber-optic front sight and a back-bored bore and chamber finished with hard chrome plating for exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. The firearm utilizes the reliable Active Valve Gas System with Quadra-Vent ports to cycle a wide variety of loads while mitigating felt recoil and ensuring clean operation. The synthetic stock and forearm are coated in a Mossy Oak DNA camouflage finish and feature improved ergonomics, a rounded pistol grip, textured gripping surfaces, an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and length of pull spacers for a customized fit. Additional features include an ambidextrous crossbolt safety, a drop-out trigger group, a larger bolt handle and bolt release button, and an Invector-Plus choke tube system.
