Overview

The Wilson Combat bolt carrier assembly is precision-machined for drop-in installation in any AR-platform rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and related case heads. Built to military specifications, the carrier is constructed from 8620 steel with an internal chrome lining and a durable black Parkerized finish, while the bolt is machined from Carpenter 158 steel, shot-peened for strength, and individually high-pressure tested (HPT). This full-auto profile carrier features added mass compared to semi-auto variants, which helps regulate cyclic rates and improves reliability in short-barreled, suppressed, or carbine-length gas systems. The assembly includes a tool-steel extractor and ejector, a properly tensioned extractor spring, and a correctly staked gas key.
