Overview

The Wilson Combat Shok-Buff Kit for full-size 1911 .45 ACP pistols is designed to reduce the battering of critical components and extend the service life of the firearm. The kit includes two Shok-Buff buffers and one 18.5-pound heavy-duty recoil spring. Wilson Combat recommends replacing the buffers every 1,000 rounds and the recoil spring every 2,000 rounds. The recoil spring features a closed coil on one end to ensure proper seating on the guide rod.
