Overview

The Wilson Combat Shok-Buff Recoil System is designed for 1911 Government-model pistols to reduce slide velocity and cushion the firing cycle. This recoil management upgrade helps extend the service life of internal components, provides a softer perceived recoil, and ensures more consistent barrel lockup, which improves accuracy recovery between shots. The kit includes a stainless steel one-piece guide rod and plug, six Shok-Buff buffers, an extra power firing pin spring, a 10 lb reduced power recoil spring, and an 18 lb extra power recoil spring to allow for custom tuning.
