The Wilson Combat High-Ride Semi Drop-In Beavertail Grip Safety for 1911 Government frames improves pistol control while eliminating hand discomfort and hammer bite. Designed to work with either a commander-style hammer or a bobbed spur hammer, this stainless steel safety can be easily reversed to factory specifications by re-installing the original stock part. Depending on individual pistol tolerances, minor modifications to the trigger engagement area may be required during installation.
