Overview

The Wilson Combat Magazine Follower and MAX Spring kit is designed to optimize existing 47 or ETM .45 ACP magazines for heavy-duty, hard-use applications. This upgrade pairs a polymer follower with a heat-treated stainless steel MAX flatwire spring, which is up to 25% stronger than standard 1911 magazine springs. The flatwire construction is engineered to resist stress and over-compression, preventing spring fatigue even after high round counts or daily extreme-duty use in high humidity or marine environments. This kit is compatible with a wide range of ammunition, from light target loads to +P service rounds, and ensures more positive slide lockback and reliable feeding. It will retrofit into all existing ETM 8-round .45 ACP magazines (specifically fitting Wilson Combat models #500, #500B, #500C, and #500BC). Additionally, it converts existing 47-series full-size magazine tubes to a 7-round capacity and 47-series compact magazines to a 6-round capacity.
