Overview

The Wilson Combat Ultralight Skeletonized Bullet Proof Stainless Hammer is a precision-engineered trigger component designed for 1911-style pistols. Fully CNC machined from solid S-7 tool steel bar stock and heat-treated to R/C 48-52 with a stainless finish, it features a skeletonized spur that minimizes weight and reduces lock time by improving travel speed. Considerable attention has been paid to its geometry, including a relocated strut pin hole and hammer hooks cut to .020 inches with an 8 RMS ground finish, aiding in the production of a crisp, safe, and light trigger pull. It also includes a narrow half-cock notch to prevent sear nose damage and has been narrowed to provide adequate slide and hammer clearance.
