Overview

The Wilson Combat Full-Length Guide Rod is a one-piece solid stainless steel replacement designed for Commander-sized 1911 handguns with a 4.25-inch barrel. It replaces stock recoil guides without requiring pistol modification and includes the necessary plug. This guide rod improves cycling, overall operation, and durability for competition, recreational, or carry use. Note that firearms with short recoil tunnels and full-length rails (such as the STI 4.1 series) are not compatible with Commander recoil system parts. Wilson Combat recommends using a barrel bushing wrench during assembly and disassembly, and safety glasses should be worn at all times when working with firearm springs.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
