Overview

The Weatherby Sorix is a field-proven, inertia-operated semi-automatic shotgun engineered to deliver exceptional reliability and performance for hunters and shooters. Designed with Weatherby's innovative Shift System, the Sorix uniquely accommodates left-handed users through a simple swap of the charging handle and safety. The firearm features an aggressive competition-cut receiver that allows for easier and faster reloading, complemented by oversized controls including a safety, charging handle, and slammer button for seamless operation in demanding conditions. The steel receiver is drilled and tapped with 8-40 holes to readily accept optic mounts. For sighting, a stepped rib is paired with an LPA fiber optic front sight to deliver swift target acquisition and accuracy. The receiver and 28-inch vent rib barrel are coated in a durable Cerakote finish to resist harsh elements, while the Midnight Marsh synthetic stock features textured touch points for a secure, non-slip grip, a soft cheekpiece for shooting comfort, and adjustable shims for customized cast and fitment. Crafted in Italy and finished with hand-painted brush patterns in Sheridan, Wyoming, the Sorix utilizes the popular Crio Plus choke system and ships complete with a choke wrench, carrying case, and five choke tubes comprising cylinder, improved cylinder, modified, improved modified, and full.
