Overview

The Weatherby Orion I is a break-action 20-gauge over/under shotgun with a 28-inch barrel and a traditional steel boxlock receiver. Designed with a low profile, the receiver is intended to direct recoil back toward the shoulder. The shotgun features hard chrome-lined bores to resist corrosion and promote consistent patterns. The stock is crafted from Grade A walnut and includes a Prince of Wales checkered pistol grip. It is equipped with a ventilated rib, a single brass bead front sight, and automatic ejectors. A tang-mounted safety serves a dual purpose as a barrel selector. The shotgun ships with three screw-in choke tubes: improved cylinder, modified, and full.
