Overview
The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Ti Carbon is a lightweight left-handed bolt-action rifle chambered in .240 Weatherby Magnum. It combines a titanium Mark V action with a tensioned carbon fiber barrel and the Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock. The rifle features a 3DHEX 3D-printed recoil pad, which uses interlocking voids to manage the recoil impulse of magnum chamberings. All metalwork, excluding the carbon fiber components and raw titanium action, is sealed in a black ceramic Cerakote finish. The rifle is equipped with a titanium Accubrake ST muzzle brake featuring 30 symmetrically spaced ports to further reduce felt recoil. The bolt body features pronounced spiral fluting to reduce weight and bearing surface, while the bolt handle is threaded and fitted with an aluminum skeletonized knob. This model is designed for high-performance hunting, prioritizing low mass and high accuracy.
