Overview

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 is a left-hand, bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5-300 Weatherby Magnum with a 3+1 capacity. Built on a classic steel Mark V action with pronounced spiral fluting on the bolt body for smoother operation, it features a 26-inch fluted steel barrel contoured at a #1 MOD and protected by a Patriot Brown Cerakote finish. The muzzle is fitted with Weatherby's effective Accubrake ST with 30 symmetrically-spaced ports to tame magnum recoil. The rifle utilizes the Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock with a dark green and brown sponge pattern over exposed carbon, complemented by a second-generation 3DHEX 3D-printed recoil pad that progressively collapses to absorb recoil. Weighing approximately 6.2 pounds with an overall length of 48 inches and a 1:8" twist rate, it is engineered as an ultra-lightweight backcountry hunting platform.
