Overview
Warne Maxima Steel Scope Bases are high-strength mounting bases modeled after the Weaver design, specifically machined to fit the Winchester Model 70 with an .860 rear hole space. These two-piece bases feature a low-profile design and a full-width recoil slot in each base, allowing for maximum bearing surface for recoil control keys. The steel construction provides a durable mounting platform, and the low profile allows shooters to utilize their firearm's open sights without removing the bases. These mounts are finished in a matte black and are secured to the receiver using Torx-style T-15 socket cap screws.
