The Warne Maxima Steel Two-Piece Weaver-Style Scope Base is designed to fit Savage bolt-action rifles with a flat rear receiver manufactured prior to 2003. Constructed from solid steel with a low-profile matte black finish, these bases feature full-width and depth recoil slots to provide maximum bearing surface for recoil control keys. Engineered to offer a strong and versatile mounting platform, they attach to the receiver using Torx T-15 screws with a recommended torque setting of 25 inch-pounds.
