Overview

The Volquartsen Target Hammer for the Ruger 10/22 provides a drop-in solution to improve trigger performance without the need for gunsmithing, stoning, or fitting. This hammer is EDM-cut from A-2 tool steel and hardened to Rc 58–60, featuring a mirror-polished sear face and precision-ground sear notch. Installation of this target hammer reduces the trigger pull to approximately 2.5 to 2.75 lbs. Each unit includes the target hammer, hammer bushings, hammer shims, a hammer spring, and a trigger return spring. Note that this component is not compatible with the Ruger BX-Trigger.
