Overview

The Volquartsen Extended Bolt Handle and Recoil Rod Assembly is designed to upgrade the performance, cycling smoothness, and operation of Ruger 10/22, 10/22 Takedown, and Charger models. The assembly features a precision-ground A2 recoil rod that is heat-treated as a solid rod and ground to eliminate rough, gritty feelings and prevent heat-treat distortion. The extended steel bolt handle is CNC-machined on a Swiss-screw machine from 416 stainless steel and extended by 0.25 inches for faster, easier manipulation. Finished in black, the system includes a standard spring pre-installed along with interchangeable standard, reduced, and heavy power springs for customized performance.
