Overview

The Volquartsen Competition Bolt is a precision-engineered upgrade for Ruger MKII, MKIII, and MK IV pistols, including both 22/45 and Target models. CNC-machined and ground to strict tolerances, this bolt is designed to enhance performance by reducing stovepipe and failure-to-fire malfunctions. It features increased hardness and lubricity, requiring less lubrication for reliable operation. The bolt includes an extended integral racker knob for improved manual cycling, an Exact Edge extractor, and a SureStrike firing pin for consistent primer ignition. The package also includes a recoil rod with a standard rate spring installed, plus additional reduced power and heavy springs. When used with MKIII pistols, the loaded chamber indicator must be removed.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
