Overview

The Viridian RFX42 is a compact enclosed emitter micro green dot sight engineered for fast target acquisition and dependable performance across handguns, rifles, and shotguns. Featuring a 1X magnification and a 21mm objective lens (21mm x 17mm), the sight utilizes a 3.5 MOA green dot reticle supported by a fully multi-coated aspherical lens for crisp clarity and wide field of view. It includes 10 brightness settings comprising 8 daylight levels and 2 night-vision compatible modes, alongside auto on/off technology and a side-loading battery tray powered by a CR1620 battery delivering up to 28,000 hours of battery life. Constructed from CNC-machined aluminum with a black finish, the RFX42 incorporates a closed emitter design to protect against dust, moisture, and debris. It features an IPX6 waterproof and shockproof rating, unlimited eye relief, and a Shield RMSc mounting footprint for straightforward installation on optics-ready pistols. Measuring 1.60 inches in length, 1 inch in width, and 1.04 inches in height, the lightweight optic weighs just 0.9 ounces.
