Overview

The UTG Red Dot sight features a 30mm tube with a 1x magnification, designed for fast target acquisition on rifles and carbines. It utilizes a 4.0 MOA dot reticle with selectable red or green illumination, adjustable via a rheostat to suit various lighting environments. The optic includes no-reflection emerald coatings and is built to be shockproof with an infinity parallax setting. It is powered by a CR1620 3V battery. This sight features a lightweight matte black aluminum housing and includes a quick-detach Weaver/Picatinny mount, allowing for reliable zero retention and compatibility with standard rail systems. Its design allows for co-witnessing with iron sights. The unit has an objective diameter of 26mm, a field of view of 70 feet at 100 yards, and 1/2-inch click adjustments at 100 yards.

Customer Sentiment

Reviewers generally find this optic to be a reliable and affordable option that holds its zero well under recoil. Common praises include the sturdy build, quick-detach mount, and dual-color illumination, while common complaints focus on dead included batteries, loose lens caps, and a reticle that can appear slightly blurry or starburst-shaped rather than a crisp dot.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
