Overview

The Smith & Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 is a striker-fired, semi-automatic handgun featuring a 5-inch barrel and a 17-round magazine capacity. It is built on an extended stainless-steel chassis designed to reduce flex and torque during firing. The pistol features a high grip-to-barrel-bore axis ratio and an 18-degree grip angle to reduce muzzle rise and assist with aim recovery. The M2.0 includes an aggressive grip texture and four interchangeable palmswell inserts for customization. The trigger system offers a crisp pull with a tactile and audible reset. Additional features include an Armornite corrosion-resistant finish and a patented take-down lever and sear deactivation system that allows for disassembly without pulling the trigger.
