Overview

Underwood Ammo Xtreme Defender 9mm Luger ammunition is designed for personal defense applications, utilizing a 90-grain solid monolithic copper projectile. The Xtreme Defender design features optimized radial nose flutes that force hydraulic energy inward, creating a large permanent wound cavity while maintaining penetration depths up to 18 inches. The solid copper construction ensures consistent performance when shooting through barriers such as wallboard, sheet metal, and automotive glass. These rounds feature flash-suppressed powder to preserve night vision during low-light use and are housed in nickel-plated brass cases, which offer enhanced corrosion resistance, improved lubricity for reliable feeding, and easier cleanup during reloading.
