The Tyrant CNC Magazine Extension is meticulously engineered to increase the ammunition capacity of Springfield Armory Echelon 15- and 17-round magazines by an additional 5 rounds of 9mm. Each base pad is CNC-machined from lightweight T6061 aerospace-grade aluminum and finished with bead blasting followed by a hardcoat anodize for long-term wear resistance. Designed for practical handling, the extension features solid top and bottom ledges to facilitate quick, efficient magazine changes and assist in clearing stuck magazines. It incorporates the proprietary 'NoBak' spring plunger technology, ensuring the base pad remains securely attached even when subjected to severe impacts, such as drops from heights exceeding 10 feet with a fully loaded magazine. The extension installs tool-free and includes a 10% power spring (110% stronger than OEM with an additional coil) to guarantee consistent final-round delivery and reliable slide hold-back.
