Overview

The TriggerTech Special is a drop-in, single-stage trigger designed for right-handed Remington 700 model rifles. Built with CLKR Technology and 440C stainless steel internal components, it provides a zero-creep break and short overtravel. The pull weight is externally adjustable from 1.0 to 3.5 lbs in 1-oz increments via a set screw, with shooters often reporting a feel 0.5 lbs lighter than friction-based triggers of equivalent measured weight. Featuring a 7075-aluminum housing and a black finish, this trigger is engineered for reliability in demanding environments. This kit includes the trigger assembly, installation tools, an instruction book, and a TriggerTech patch. Note: This trigger does not include a bolt release and is not compatible with standard Remington 700 actions that have an integrated bolt release.
