Overview

The Traditions Vortek Strikerfire LDR is a 50-caliber muzzleloading rifle featuring a 28-inch ultralight chromoly tapered and fluted barrel with a 1:24" VAPR twist designed to stabilize bullets and extend effective range. It utilizes an innovative StrikerFire system that eliminates the external hammer, allowing for a faster lock time, lower scope mounting, and reduced overall weight. The gun is cocked by sliding the striker button forward until it locks, and it features an automatic de-cocking mechanism as well as a recessed de-cocking button. Built on an LT-1 alloy frame with a desert web finish and a tungsten cerakote barrel, the rifle includes the TAC2 two-stage competition-style trigger, an Accelerator breech plug, and a dual safety system. It also features a recoil-reducing buttstock and buttpad, Hogue comfort-grip overmolding, sling swivel studs, and is drilled and tapped for a scope. The package comes complete with a 3-9x40mm scope, a 209 shotgun primer ignition, and a Quick-T ramrod handle that functions as a t-handle and palm saver.
