Overview

The Traditions Shedhorn is a .50 caliber muzzleloading rifle featuring a 26-inch ultralight chromoly tapered and fluted barrel finished in Tungsten Cerakote. It features a Desert Web camouflage stock and is equipped with a globe front peep sight for accurate aiming. The rifle uses musket cap ignition and is capable of firing loose black powder or Pyrodex. Designed for sidelock enthusiasts, the Shedhorn includes modern upgrades such as an Accelerator Breech Plug that can be removed by hand and a 1:28-inch twist rate, allowing for the use of saboted bullets and modern muzzleloading projectiles. It also features a double set trigger system, a solid aluminum ramrod, and sling swivel studs. The barrel is drilled and tapped to accommodate a scope, providing versatility for various hunting seasons.
