Overview

The Traditions Vortek StrikerFire is a .45 caliber muzzleloader featuring a 28-inch fluted and tapered stainless steel barrel with a 1:24" VAPR twist rate, designed to better stabilize bullets and improve accuracy. It utilizes the StrikerFire System, which replaces the external hammer with a striker button for faster locktime and a lower scope mounting profile. The rifle includes a recessed de-cocking mechanism and an automatic de-cocking feature that engages when the action is opened. Additional features include the TAC2 two-stage competition-style trigger, a 1-piece Accelerator Breech Plug, and a dual safety system. The rifle is finished in Mossy Oak Break-Up Country camo with synthetic furniture and a Hogue Comfort Grip overmold. It comes equipped with a 3-9x40mm scope, sling swivel studs, and a Quick-T Ramrod Handle that functions as both a palm saver and a t-handle with a brass jag. It is designed for 209 primer ignition and weighs approximately 6.5 lbs.
