Overview

The Traditions Vortek StrikerFire is an advanced break-action muzzleloading rifle featuring a 28-inch fluted and tapered chromoly steel barrel with a 1:24" VAPR twist rate. This faster twist rate stabilizes bullets, increases accuracy, and expands the range of available projectile options. Built around an LT-1 alloy frame with a stainless Cerakote finish on the barrel and receiver, the rifle utilizes an innovative StrikerFire System that eliminates the external hammer for a faster locktime, lower profile scope mounting, and reduced overall weight. To cock the rifle, the user simply pushes the forward sliding striker button until it locks; opening the action automatically de-cocks the firearm, aided by a recessed manual de-cocking button. It also includes the two-stage TAC2 trigger system, a 209 primer ignition, a 1-piece Accelerator Breech Plug, and a dual safety system. The black synthetic stock features a rubber recoil-reducing buttpad and Hogue comfort-grip overmolding. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounting and comes packaged with a 3-9x40mm scope. Additional features include sling swivel studs and a solid aluminum Quick-T Ramrod Handle that functions as a palm saver, t-handle, and cleaning or work rod.
