Overview

The Traditions 1842 Springfield Musket is a .69 caliber percussion muzzleloading rifle kit. Designed for assembly by the user, the kit features a 42-inch rifled barrel finished in the white and a hand-oiled walnut stock. This authentic reproduction is modeled after the mid-19th-century US musket and includes a ladder-style rear sight with elevation adjustments and a fixed front sight. The rifle utilizes a locking hooked breech for easy cleaning and a single-action trigger with an ornate trigger guard. Approved by the North-South Skirmish Association (N-SSA), this kit is suitable for re-enactments, hunting, or display purposes and is compatible with both round balls and Minie balls.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
