The Timney Triggers AR-15 Skeletonized Trigger (661S) is a self-contained, single-stage drop-in assembly designed for small-pin AR-15 platforms. It provides a factory-set 3 lb. trigger pull without the need for manual adjustments. The module utilizes the rifle's original hammer and trigger pins, with a proprietary design that helps prevent pin rotation and walkout. Machined from hardened steel, this trigger is intended to provide a smooth, creep-free break. If installed in a polymer lower receiver, the manufacturer recommends placing a thin piece of aluminum underneath the trigger module for protection.
