Overview

The Taylor's & Co. 1892 Alaskan Take-Down is a modern lever-action rifle designed for the hunting market. It features a 16.5-inch barrel with a matte chrome finish and is chambered in .44 Magnum with a 5+1 capacity. The rifle is equipped with a black synthetic, soft-touch stock featuring a padded butt end for increased comfort. The barrel is threaded (5/8x24) and comes with a thread protector. This take-down model allows for easy disassembly; the receiver includes interrupted threads that allow the barrel to be removed after the magazine tube is unscrewed. The Alaskan features a D-shaped lever for easier cycling, a rear weaver rail with a peep sight, and a red fiber optic front sight. The barrel is drilled and tapped to accept scout-mount optics and Weaver 61 bases, blending traditional 1892 action aesthetics with modern performance features.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
