Overview

The Taylors & Company 1892 Alaskan Take-Down is a lever-action rifle chambered in .357 Magnum, designed for high-performance hunting. This full-size rifle features a 16-inch half-octagonal barrel with a matte chrome finish and is threaded 5/8x24 with an included thread protector. The receiver is also finished in matte chrome and includes an integrated Weaver rail peep sight, while the front sight is a red fiber optic. The barrel is drilled and tapped to accept Scout Mount optics and Weaver 61 bases. The Alaskan Take-Down is engineered for efficient disassembly, utilizing interrupted threads on the receiver that allow the barrel to be removed by levering the action open and unscrewing the magazine tube disassembly lever. The rifle features a black synthetic stock with an over-molded rubber "Soft Touch" coating, a padded butt end, and a D-shaped lever for improved handling. With a 5-round capacity and a total weight of 5.9 lbs, this rifle is optimized for modern hunting demands, including compatibility with tuned lever-action ammunition.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
