Overview

The Taurus TX 9 is a full-size, striker-fired semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm Luger. It features a 4.50-inch alloy steel barrel with a matte black finish and a 1:16.5 right-hand twist rate. The slide is constructed from alloy steel with a gas-nitride black finish and features serrations along with the Taurus T.O.R.O. system cut for optics readiness out of the box. The pistol is built upon a modular polymer frame equipped with an integrated Picatinny rail for accessories, a manual safety, and a firing pin block. Sights consist of a removable white-dot front sight paired with a drift-adjustable rear sight utilizing industry-standard dovetails. Designed with an ambidextrous slide release and a reversible magazine catch, the TX 9 accommodates both left- and right-handed shooters. The grip features interchangeable backstraps to customize fit. The handgun has an overall length of 7.75 inches, an overall height of 5.20 inches, a width of 1.28 inches, and an unloaded weight of approximately 1.56 lbs, feeding from a 10-round magazine.
