The Tapco AR Carbine Receiver Extension Tube is constructed from mil-spec 7075 T6 aluminum. The interior of the tube features a mil-spec dry film lubricant coating to reduce metal-on-metal contact and keep action quieter, while the exterior is grit-blasted and finished with a non-reflective, lusterless black coating in accordance with mil-std 171. Proudly made in the USA.
