Overview

Tannerite 1-pound reactive targets are binary systems designed as shot indicators for long-range centerfire rifle practice. The kit includes the target composition (Ammonium Nitrate) and the catalyst (pyrotechnic-grade Aluminum powder), which are mixed by the user. The target is designed to be initiated by the impact of a centerfire rifle bullet weighing at least 40 grains and traveling at a minimum velocity of 2000 fps. These targets are intended for use only in non-populated areas.
