Overview

The TacStar Slimline SideSaddle is a 6-round shell holder for 12-gauge Mossberg 500 and 590 shotguns. It features a non-glare, anodized aluminum backing plate contoured to minimize snags and reduce the footprint on the receiver. The shell carrier itself is constructed from a rigid, weather-resistant polymer equipped with an internal flexible retention strip to ensure secure shell retention while allowing for quick and easy removal. Note that if the shotgun is equipped with a field-grade forend that extends onto the sides of the receiver, modification or replacement of the forend may be required for full cycling.
