Overview

The TacMed Solutions SOF Tourniquet is designed for rapid one-handed and two-handed pre-hospital applications. It features a reinforced, low-stretch 1.5-inch polyester pressure band that easily slides over limbs, along with a detachable, UV-resistant, high-strength composite friction-lock buckle that unhooks and re-hooks to allow access to confined spaces or trapped limbs. A patented indicator wedge is stitched beneath the windlass to visually confirm when all slack has been removed. The 5-inch machined aircraft-grade aluminum windlass rod features a textured grip for consistent twisting and secures safely into a Tri-Ring Lock and Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip (TRAC).
