Overview

The Sylvan Arms Gen 5 Left Folding Stock Adapter (SA5) is designed to convert standard AR-15 and compatible rifles into a compact, transportable platform. CNC-machined in the USA from 4140 steel, the Gen 5 design is rated 250% stronger than previous generations and folds to the left, away from the ejection port. Weighing 9.4 ounces, the adapter threads directly onto standard buffer tube positions using 1-3/16" x 16 threading. It features an improved locking mechanism, user-adjustable hinge tension, a hardened buffer pin, and two integrated QD sling attachment points. The unit installs in under five minutes using included tools and comes with a 1045 steel bolt extension, making it compatible with standard mil-spec AR-15 bolt carrier groups and most AR-10 builds, as well as select 9mm bolt carriers.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
