Overview

The SureFire XVL2-IRC is an advanced weapon light and aiming laser system that combines multiple tactical illumination and targeting functions into a compact, lightweight platform. It utilizes a virtually indestructible dual-emitter LED module driven by a single 123A lithium battery to deliver regulated white-light illumination and infrared illumination. The proprietary MaxVision Beam technology shapes the white-light output into an optimal mix of projected distance and wide-angle situational awareness. For aiming and illumination, the unit houses a co-aligned dual-beam module featuring a visible green (520nm) laser and an 850nm infrared laser. Both lasers are simultaneously adjustable via a sealed x- and y-axis milliradian platform with incremental click adjustments. Operation is managed via integral ambidextrous momentary- and constant-on rear switches, and the unit supports optional pressure-activated remote switches. Designed to attach securely to both Picatinny and universal accessory rails, the XVL2-IRC is weatherproofed to IPX8 standards and includes a nylon storage pouch, mount key, and cleaning supplies.
