The SureFire SF3P5561228 three-prong flash hider is precision-machined from US mill-certified heat-treated stainless steel bar stock with 1/2"-28 tpi threads for 5.56x45mm NATO M4 and M16 platform weapons. Featuring a black Ionbond DLC coating for protection against harsh environments, its patent-pending design reduces muzzle flash by over 99% compared to a plain muzzle. Multiple bearing surfaces ensure superior suppressor alignment and prevent tine ringing, while a rear labyrinth seal minimizes carbon buildup. It serves as a mounting adapter for SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach sound suppressors.
