Overview

The Surefire HellFighter 5 (HF5) is a powerful, compact searchlight engineered for heavy-duty applications. It features a high-intensity discharge (HID) lamp that generates a 4,500-lumen, 730,000-candela beam with a range exceeding 1,600 meters. The filament-free lamp is designed to be highly resistant to recoil, vibration, and impact, while the precision mirror-finish reflector provides a wide cone of peripheral light. Constructed from high-strength aerospace aluminum with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodizing, the HF5 is O-ring and gasket sealed for waterproof performance up to 1 meter. It includes an integral rechargeable battery with 80 minutes of runtime and supports external power supplies, such as BA-5590 batteries. The unit features an integral, rail-compatible mount for rapid attachment and detachment, a low-profile folding carry handle, and an integral rear pushbutton switch.
