Overview

The Strike Industries GRIDLOK Full Duty handguard is an 11-inch aluminum rail system specifically designed for Law Enforcement and Special Operations communities utilizing the HK416, HK416 A5, HK416 A7, MR556, and M27 IAR platforms (without ambidextrous sling attachment points). Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black finish, it features a 1.57-inch inner diameter capable of fitting suppressors and muzzle devices up to that size. The handguard utilizes a patent-pending Quick Rail Detach (QD) locking latch system that mounts directly to the factory HK OEM barrel nut, allowing the rail to be removed or swapped in seconds. It features a continuous top 1913 Picatinny rail, M-LOK attachment slots positioned at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock locations, four integrated 360-degree free swivel QD socket points at the 2, 4, 8, and 10 o'clock rear positions, a rear index tab for proper upper receiver alignment, and a built-in flip-up front backup iron sight.
