The Stern Defense .45 ACP replacement barrel features a 16.10-inch length and is machined from 4150 chrome-moly steel with a durable black melonite coating. Designed for AR-15 platform builds utilizing a .45 ACP configuration, it incorporates a 1:16 twist rate and is threaded .578-28. Manufacturer specifications note that this barrel requires an enlarged ejection port on the upper receiver and must be used with an 11-ounce buffer or heavier when employing a standard carbine spring. An indexing pin is pre-installed.
