Overview

Starline .45-70 unprimed brass cartridge cases are produced very strong and stiff to withstand the high pressures associated with smokeless hunting loads and Magnum Heavy Hunting Loads in adequate gun systems. Because the material is left stiffer to handle these demanding applications, handloaders may anneal the case mouth as needed for specific uses—such as lower-pressure black powder loads, where mouth annealing may be necessary to allow the case to properly seal the chamber. Each bag contains 50 rounds of high-quality brass.
