Starline 40-65 WCF brass cases are manufactured from an alloy of 70% copper and 30% zinc, utilizing a vertical drawing process and intermediate lot annealing to ensure uniform wall thickness and consistent metallurgy. Each unprimed, new case is hand-inspected for quality assurance. Due to bulk manufacturing and final tumbling operations, some cases may exhibit minor cosmetic blemishes, anneal stains, or slightly dented or out-of-round case mouths that are routinely straightened and smoothed during initial sizing and chamfering preparation.
