Overview

Starline nickel-plated brass cases are composed of 70% copper and 30% zinc, utilizing a vertical drawing manufacturing process that yields uniform wall thickness. Cases are annealed between each draw to maintain consistent metallurgy throughout every lot, and each individual case is hand-inspected for quality assurance. Supplied as new, unprimed bulk brass, these cases should be full-length sized, trimmed, and chamfered prior to loading. Because nickel plating is harder than raw brass, extra care and proper case lubrication are required during the sizing process to prevent sticking.
