Overview

The Springfield Armory Prodigy Comp takes the 1911 platform and integrates double-stack capacity with high-performance features. Built around a carbon steel frame with a coyote brown Cerakote finish, it features a 4.25-inch match-grade stainless steel bull barrel with a black DLC finish and an integrated compensator to reduce muzzle rise. The slide is optic-ready (AOS compatible) with front and rear serrations, paired with a tritium front sight and a black serrated rear sight. The pistol includes an aggregate-texture polymer grip module, an ambidextrous safety, a skeletonized trigger, and an integrated Picatinny accessory rail. Chambered in 9mm Luger, it ships with one 17-round and one 20-round magazine.
