The Springfield Armory Emissary is a full-size, single-action 1911 semi-auto pistol chambered in 9mm. This model features a 5-inch match-grade forged stainless steel bull barrel, which aids in accuracy and recoil management. The slide is constructed from forged carbon steel with a "Tri-Top" cut and 40 LPI flat-top serrations, while the frame is forged stainless steel. Both are finished in durable black Cerakote. The Emissary includes a Picatinny accessory rail, Tritium/Luminescent front sights, and a Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight. The grip is outfitted with Thin-Line G10 scales. The pistol has a capacity of 9+1 rounds and includes two magazines. Designed as a defensive firearm, it combines classic 1911 handling characteristics with modern enhancements.
